Nick Berard is an energetic leader passionate about education, finance and Real Estate. He is a self proclaimed financing and excel nerd. With an MBA and 6 years of commercial finance experience, Nick helped create and implement a valuation methodology for a $2+ Billion finance portfolio. Then transitioned his experience from ranks of overworked & underpaid Corporate America to the Entrepreneurial Main Streets of Real Estate. As a World-Class Realtor, Nick is dedicated to helping clients manage wealth through real estate. He believes that the right education allows clients to make and implement the best decisions for their family.

Licensed in 2014, Nick was able to quickly translate finance & people skills into a successful real estate business. Levering coaching with proven systems, models and tools Nick achieved in Keller Williams Bellingham: Rookie of the year 2016, #1 individual agent for closed & listing volume 2017 & 2020.

Investment real estate has been the perfect combo for Nick to translate finance & real estate expertise into teachable wealth building strategies. In 2018, Nick sold his single family home to invest in a duplex. Through value-add updates & repositioning leases has added positive cash flow and increased equity 400%+. Then in 2019 bought another home where he house-hacked to create additional rental income. Sharing his story & educating clients has helped Nick establish himself as a trusted advisor to real estate investors and coach agents to do the same.

Speaking on a stage or in front of a crowd is a passion of his. Whether it is teaching every Keller Williams New Agent Course to his brokerage, one-on-one coaching, or hosting community fundraising events, Nick enjoys public speaking and sharing with a crowd. He earned his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Seattle University and a Bachelors in Marketing from Washington State University.

Personal note: Nick enjoys spending free time with his Wife (Laurel), kids (Hunter & Piper) & pup (Chase). The Berard’s enjoy fishing, hiking, golfing, the many Bellingham Parks, pump tracks, scooter parks, Lummi Island in the San Juan’s, and when at home the Berard’s enjoy remodeling.
